Odate Yatate Heights is a hot spring inn that serves as the centerpiece of the “Yatate Pass” Roadside Station.
The area is surrounded by Akita cedar forests—one of Japan’s Three Great Forests—and offers a variety of scenic views throughout the four seasons.
The hot spring, which features an abundant flow of water directly from the source, is affectionately known as “Toge no Kane no Yu” (The Golden Hot Spring of the Pass).
