Set against the backdrop of a special venue at “Roadside Station Takanosu” in Takanosu, Kitaakita City, this event brings together a wide variety of handmade mochi—including Kitaakita’s famous “butter mochi,” as well as oyaki, dried mochi, and sliced mochi—that the northern part of the prefecture is proud of!

In addition, more than 20 vendors will be on-site selling pickled vegetables and other local specialties!

Stage events will also be held, including live performances by amateur bands and a participatory karaoke contest.
