Every year on October 14—Railway Day—the “Kosaka Railway Festival” is held at the Kosaka Railway Rail Park.

The event features a variety of fun activities, including demonstrations of snowplow cars in action, freight car formations on display, photo sessions, and exhibits of rolling stock inside the locomotive shed.
