A long-established shaved ice shop in Odate City. It’s open year-round and uses specially selected “pure ice.”

“Pure ice” is ice produced over a long period of time while removing air from within it.

By inducing convection in the ice through micro-vibrations, impurities such as air and bacteria are released from the water over a 48-hour period.

During this 48-hour period, the ice is frozen gradually and slowly at a constant low temperature of –12°C. Because it contains no air and has a high density, it does not alter the flavor of drinks or food, and it also has the advantage of melting slowly.

Shaved ice made from this pure ice is exquisite, and you can enjoy a variety of flavors, ranging from simple fruit syrups to condensed milk and Japanese-style syrups like matcha kinako.
