The combination of kiritampo made from new-crop rice and Hinai chicken is a specialty of the region.
It’s that time of year again—the season for new rice and delicious kiritanpo.
Kiritanpo has been passed down through generations in households as a “taste of home” and a “special-occasion dish,” and even today, it’s served as a “hospitality dish” at weddings, funerals, and other events, regardless of the season.
In addition to the popular “Kiritanpo Grand Prix” and miso-glazed kiritanpo-making workshops, there will be a wide variety of stage events and hands-on activities.
Why not come to the Nipro Hachiko Dome and experience all the charms of the region?
