This three-story wooden building, constructed entirely of natural Akita cedar, is a Renaissance-style office building representative of the Meiji era.

The spiral staircase in the entrance hall, which extends all the way up to the third floor, features stunning curves and is highly regarded for its architectural beauty.

Inside the building, you’ll find exhibits of architectural records, introductions to Kosaka Town’s historical heritage, and information on nearby sightseeing spots. You can also purchase local specialties unique to Kosaka Town.
