Experience “omotenashi” that warms your heart
As the name suggests, this is a hands-on, community-oriented farmers’ market run primarily by local “moms” from farming families.
Inside, you’ll find a wide array of vegetables, fruits, and processed goods carefully cultivated by local farmers.
With seasonal delicacies on display, you’re sure to discover something new every time you visit.
At the attached workshop, you can enjoy “kiritanpo-making” and “soba-making” experiences, and depending on the season, you can even participate in apple and pear picking.
Why not experience Akita’s culture and the warmth of its people through these hands-on activities and interactions?
