It is said that in the winter of 1873, Kurt Neto, a German engineer who had been assigned to the Kosaka Mine, was among the first to celebrate Christmas with the villagers.

The Angel Hall and the Kosaka Mine Office are decorated with lights, creating a magical atmosphere.

Market booths feature a variety of Christmas-themed shops, ranging from food and drink vendors selling sausages, cookies, mulled wine, and beer to stores selling goods such as wreaths and ornaments.

At night, enjoy a spectacular display combining winter fireworks and the festive lights.
