Lake Taihei Sightseeing

Lake Taihei is a man-made lake formed by the construction of the Mt. Moriyoshi Dam. It has a circumference of 30km, surface area of 195ha and depth of 58m.

The Lake Taihei sightseeing boat begins service on June 1st and continues until late autumn.

Passengers can disembark at the Komata Gorge to view a series of stunning waterfalls.

Prepare some shoes for hiking and enjoy your day!

Further information

Boarding passes are sold at the Lake Taihei Greenhouse.
It is an approximately 7 minute downhill walk from the Greenhouse to the pier and a 15 minute uphill
walk from the pier to the Greenhouse.　
Schedule changes and suspension of services may be encountered due to inclimate weather.
