Blessings from Lake Towada
Sadayuki Wauchi introduced the himemasu trout to Lake Towada after 22 years of trial and error. The trout were brought from Lake Shikotsu in Hokkaido and have now becomes a specialty of Lake Towada. This fish is known for its rich, fatty taste. In addition to sashimi and grilled salt, you can also enjoy this Lake Towada specialty in in stews or deep-fried and served with rice.
